AIFS Professional Internship Australia (PIA) is an unpaid professional internship placement with an Australian company. PIA gives you "hands-on" learning under a structured training plan which allows you to put your academic knowledge into practice. With AIFS PIA you will get:

Eligibility & Visas

AIFS will arrange for your Work & Holiday Visa as a participant of the PIA program. To be eligible you must be:

  • Aged between 18 and 30 years old
  • Possess a return or onward airfare out of Australia at the end of your program
  • Provide evidence of studies relating to the requested field of internship
  • Currently studying or recent graduate

Please note that the above requirements are for US Citizens only. Visa applicants may be required to take a health examination. Please contact us if you are not a US Citizen or for more information about the Work & Holiday Visa.

*Fee noted based on US currency exchange rate for $AU1,550 on May 5th, 2009.
