AIFS – Web Content Specialist
AIFS is looking for a Web Content Specialist. Duties for this position include: writing and editing marketing content for use on marketing materials, advertising, websites, blogs and social media; updating and maintaining content across multiple websites; proofreading; creating and sending email campaigns and newsletters.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong personal initiative who is able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. They must have a strong attention to detail, excellent writing and communication skills, experience with MS Office and social media and be interested in staying on top of the latest marketing techniques and communications practices. Candidate either must possess working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Dreamweaver or be willing to learn.
Academic Year in America – Field Staff and Marketing Coordinator
The AIFS Foundationís Academic Year in America (AYA) program is one of the most respected high school exchange programs in the U.S. for over 30 years. AYA, a non-profit Foundation, has brought approximately 1,000 international high school students to the U.S. each year to live with an American host family and study at a local high school.
AYA has community representatives, Local Coordinators, throughout the US that assist the program with family recruitment and student management. The Field Staff and Marketing Coordinator will actively recruit, identify and screen new Local Coordinators; coordinate the on-boarding and training process; liaise with AIFS marketing team to manage print and electronic marketing material for the field staff and AYA; manage field staff benefits packages including contracts, incentives and bonus points; manage host family and high school recognition programs.

Academic Year in America – Placement Manager
AYA, a not-for-profit high school exchange program, is seeking a creative and enthusiastic leader for the Placement Team. The Placement Manager is responsible for creating and executing an annual placement strategy to ensure timely placement of all students. This includes developing and coordinating marketing efforts including print, web and social media in addition to leading and motivating the internal and external placement teams to reach goals. The placement manager will be responsible for research and analytics including analysis of current market conditions, customer research and historical data in order to inform the placement strategy and give the program a competitive edge. Creativity and positive energy a must.
All the items below are what we are looking for in a candidate:
- Bachelors Degree
- Marketing experience – print, web, social media
- Communications background
- Experience in study abroad/an understanding of our mission
Au Pair in America (APIA) has been placing au pairs with American families in 36 states since 1986. Au Pair in America is a leading provider of au pairs for over 5,000 host families each year.
Au Pair has an excellent opportunity for an individual with customer service and inside sales experience. The Placement Services Coordinator works as part of the placement team to ensure maximizing the number of host families who applied to our program secure a placement with an available au pair. Each placement services coordinator is responsible for host family accounts with a specific designated territory of the United States and will guide and direct host families in the process of selecting their au pair. Placement Coordinators identify the most compatible au pairs for their host families and proactively communicates until a match is finalized.
The right applicant will be detail oriented, organized, be able to work independently and be a team player. Customer service and sales experience required.

Seasonal Positions in the AIFS Stamford Office
The American Institute For Foreign Study (AIFS) facilitates international exchange and educational programs throughout the world. Some of our programs include Camp America, College Study Abroad, Academic Year in America, AuPair in America and Summer Institute for the Gifted.
We are looking for individuals to assist us in the AIFS Stamford office during our high season in administrative, customer service and sales roles. Candidates applying for our seasonal positions will need to have strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. Previous administrative experience is a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is a must. These positions will be required to work overtime and on weekends throughout the summer.
