AIFS Study Abroad – Regional Director
AIFS College Study Abroad partners with 300+ U.S. colleges and universities in over 20 countries around the world to facilitate summer, semester, J-term, academic year and faculty-led programs for U.S. academic credit for several thousand students each year.
AIFS College Study Abroad is expanding their field staff and looking for a Regional Director to cover the Mid-Atlantic region. This role will be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with colleges and universities in New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Washington DC and Maryland. The Regional Director can be based in the region or near AIFS Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. AIFS is looking for a dynamic, outgoing individual who shows a passion for education abroad to join the University Relations team. The Regional Director will be responsible for the development and implementation of a strategy to maintain existing institutional relationships, identify and pursue new institutional partners, and recruit students for all AIFS education abroad programs.
The right individual for this role will need to have a minimum of 3-5 years international education enrollment or administration experience. Strong computer skills including data tracking and analysis are essential. Personal education abroad experience required. Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary.

Summer Institute for the Gifted – Program Director
The primary responsibility of the Program Director for the Summer Institute for the Gifted is to develop and implement successful programs at several Summer Institute residential and day sites. This responsibility includes pre-summer planning from September to April as well as on-the-ground program management May to August with frequent weekend travel required. The Program Director position is full-time, year round, and located in Stamford, CT.

Camp America – Operations Assistant
Camp America, a division of AIFS, has been placing international students at summer camps throughout the United States for the past 30 years. Camp America is one of the leading providers of international camp staff.
Camp America has a great opportunity for two individuals from January/February until the end of August to be a part of the operations team facilitating the logistics for camp counselor international travels. As Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for entering flight arrangements, maintaining travel to camp instructions, and speaking with both camp directors and international counselors on a daily basis.
The position is a temporary position through the end of August. You must have the ability to work 9 – 5, Monday – Friday with occasional overtime on evenings and one day per weekend in June. The ideal candidate(s) must have strong attention to detail, a friendly and confident phone manner, an ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time, and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

The American Institute For Foreign Study (AIFS) facilitates international exchange and educational programs throughout the world. Some of our programs include Camp America, College Study Abroad, Academic Year in America, AuPair in America and Summer Institute for the Gifted.
We are looking for individuals to assist us in the AIFS Stamford office during our high season in administrative, customer service and sales roles. Candidates applying for our seasonal positions will need to have strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. Previous administrative experience is a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is a must. These positions will be required to work overtime and on weekends throughout the summer.
