AIFS – Graphic Designer - Web, U/X and Print
AIFS is looking for a Graphic Designer. This position will be responsible for creating, updating & troubleshooting websites and email templates. Projects may include designing for print materials as needed including catalogs, brochures, T-shirts, direct mail pieces as well as sending e-mail blasts.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong personal initiative who is able to handle multiple project simultaneously. He/She must have a strong attention to detail, excellent design and production skills, proficiency in Adobe products (InDesign, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Illustrator), able to write clean HTML and CSS and be interested and informed on new and emerging web technologies and design practices.
Academic Year in America – Field Staff and Marketing Coordinator
The AIFS Foundationís Academic Year in America (AYA) program is one of the most respected high school exchange programs in the U.S. for over 30 years. AYA, a non-profit Foundation, has brought approximately 1,000 international high school students to the U.S. each year to live with an American host family and study at a local high school.
AYA has community representatives, Local Coordinators, throughout the US that assist the program with family recruitment and student management. The Field Staff and Marketing Coordinator will actively recruit, identify and screen new Local Coordinators; coordinate the on-boarding and training process; liaise with AIFS marketing team to manage print and electronic marketing material for the field staff and AYA; manage field staff benefits packages including contracts, incentives and bonus points; manage host family and high school recognition programs.

Academic Year in America – Placement Manager
AYA, a not-for-profit high school exchange program, is seeking a creative and enthusiastic leader for the Placement Team. The Placement Manager is responsible for creating and executing an annual placement strategy to ensure timely placement of all students. This includes developing and coordinating marketing efforts including print, web and social media in addition to leading and motivating the internal and external placement teams to reach goals. The placement manager will be responsible for research and analytics including analysis of current market conditions, customer research and historical data in order to inform the placement strategy and give the program a competitive edge. Creativity and positive energy a must.
All the items below are what we are looking for in a candidate:
- Bachelors Degree
- Marketing experience – print, web, social media
- Communications background
- Experience in study abroad/an understanding of our mission

Cultural Insurance Services International (CISI) – Account Executive
CISI is a leading provider of insurance coverage and travel assistance to more than 150,000 participants of cultural exchange programs annually. Our office has access to both the domestic and international insurance markets and has more than thirty years of experience providing international travelers with world-class insurance plans.
CISI is expanding our sales force. We are looking for an individual to generate new sales in the cultural exchange and educational travel markets. Candidate will be responsible for presenting proposals, responding to RFPs, and servicing existing accounts. This individual would work with our Underwriter and insurers to provide the best possible rates and policies to new and existing customers, as well as generate and present proposals, review claims losses and provide suggestions on potential changes to reduce losses, and continually keep a pulse on competitive markets.
The right candidate for this position will have strong verbal and written communication skills, sales database knowledge, knowledge of Insurance extremely helpful but not necessary if candidate has international college market and/or college sales background. Must be willing to travel regularly in designated territory. Will require some travel beyond territory as well. Accident and Health Insurance Producerís License a PLUS!! Candidate should be highly motivated towards building a new book of business.

Seasonal Positions in the AIFS Stamford Office
The American Institute For Foreign Study (AIFS) facilitates international exchange and educational programs throughout the world. Some of our programs include Camp America, College Study Abroad, Academic Year in America, AuPair in America and Summer Institute for the Gifted.
We are looking for individuals to assist us in the AIFS Stamford office during our high season in administrative, customer service and sales roles. Candidates applying for our seasonal positions will need to have strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. Previous administrative experience is a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is a must. These positions will be required to work overtime and on weekends throughout the summer.
