AIFS – Technical Support Representative
Provide technical support to users by researching and answering questions; troubleshooting problems; maintaining workstation and LAN performance.
- Provide first level support on hardware and software issues
- Provides answers to clients by identifying problems; researching answers; guiding client through corrective steps.
- Improves client relationships by writing and maintaining documentation.
- Participates in development of client training programs.
- Avoids legal challenges by monitoring compliance with service agreements.
Summer Institute for the Gifted/NSGT – Program Director
The primary responsibility of the Program Director for the National Society for the Gifted and Talented is to develop and implement successful programs at several Summer Institute for the Gifted residential and day sites. This responsibility includes pre-summer planning, summer oversight and post-summer conclusions. The Program Director position is located in Stamford, CT.
- Responsible for pre-summer planning at assigned venues including site facilities (residential, academic and social) usage and liaising with campus staff
- Communicate with internal recruitment personnel to ensure highly qualified staff are hired for all programs
- Interview, hire and place instructors, housemasters, and residential office managers for assigned campuses
- Supervise 5-7 Directors (Day and/or Residential) who work remotely
- Participate in two weekend long administrative staff trainings held in May or June

The American Institute For Foreign Study (AIFS) facilitates international exchange and educational programs throughout the world. Some of our programs include Camp America, College Study Abroad, Academic Year in America, AuPair in America and Summer Institute for the Gifted.
We are looking for individuals to assist us in the AIFS Stamford office during our high season in administrative, customer service and sales roles. Candidates applying for our seasonal positions will need to have strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. Previous administrative experience is a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is a must. These positions will be required to work overtime and on weekends throughout the summer.

Orientation Staff: Greeter/Driver
For nearly 45 years, Camp America has provided the very best in cultural exchange for campers and camp staff since 1969. We take pride in bringing the best of the world to camps safely, efficiently and with the utmost care. Camp counselors and support staff from all over the world teach a variety of skills at camp and bring with them their own unique cultures.
Camp America seeks Seasonal Orientation Staff to work at a hotel in Fairfield, NJ approximately May 19th Ė July 1st. Camp America brings over 3,000 international participants to attend an orientation at the hotel. Employees will have the opportunity to meet university students from around the world while gaining valuable work experience. Participants spend a night at our orientation hotel where they will learn even more about our program through an orientation and meet fellow staff before heading off to camp throughout the United States to share their culture with others. This is the perfect seasonal job for those interested in the fields of international relations, foreign studies and languages, hotel management, travel and tourism and more.
Orientation Staff: Greeter/Driver will be responsible for greeting and transporting small groups of participants between the New York City area airports, other transportation centers in New York City, and our orientation hotel. You will also be responsible for helping with hotel check-in and completing general office duties as assigned. A company van will be provided. Must be OK with early morning and late night shifts, schedules vary. Please note: Drivers must have a valid driverís license (no special license required) and a clean driving record; 21+ preferred. You will need to report to our Fairfield, NJ hotel each day.
