The insurance division of AIFS, Cultural Insurance Services International (CISI), is looking for a Benefit Analyst to handle insurance claims for all benefits provided on behalf of student travel accident policies supplied to CISI clients. Responsibilities include processing claims submitted by participants, receiving, adjudicating and processing participant medical, personal effects, trip cancellation/interruption, tuition refund and miscellaneous claims, reviewing claim submissions for eligibility and coverage. Communicating via phone and in writing with claimants, doctors, hospitals, program sponsors and participants concerning claims in process.
Providing ongoing customer service support to program sponsors to ensure quality and continuation of coverage, and reviewing medical records to determine. Developing a full understanding of customized benefit program assigned to each client is required as well as keeping informed of operating practices in the medical claims industry and utilizing all available tools to ensure claim payment accuracy and quality.
College degree or equivalent experience required. Experience with medical claims processing using modern claim software technology, and excellent customer service skills also required. Strong computer skills a must.
