The Information Technology Department is seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented and organized individual to assist the Network Manager with the installation, configuration and maintenance of the organization's LAN servers, routers, switches and appliances. Working with multiple hardware and software platforms at an intermediate level, this position also manages performance and maintains security of the network infrastructure.
Requires a Bachelors Degree or certifications plus 2-4 years of experience in the following areas:
- LAN/WAN administration
- Microsoft Windows 2003 server / Active directory
- Physical and Virtual server builds
- Firewall administration
- Cisco switch configuration and maintenance
- Basic SAN skills
- Technical documentation
Additional skills in the following would be beneficial:
- Checkpoint firewall
- Veritas Backup Exec
- Trend Micro Server protect
- Symantec/Norton Corporate Anti-Virus
- Microsoft Exchange server
- AD GPO design and administration
- Citrix Presentation Server
- Blackberry Enterprise Server
