AIFS Study Abroad – Vice President,
University Relations
AIFS College Study Abroad works with 500 universities and colleges in affiliation with 28 international universities to organize programs for more than 5,000 American students each year, including summer, semester, academic year and faculty-led programs for U.S. academic credit.
We have an incredible opportunity for an individual to make a difference in our program. AIFS has just re-opened the VP of University Relations role, which is responsible for working with our field staff to increase enrollments, build partnerships with universities and colleges throughout the U.S. and enhance program offerings. This position will be responsibility for a team of 8 field representatives.

AIFS Summer Advantage – Director
Founded in 1964, the American Institute For Foreign Study (AIFS) is one of the oldest, largest and most respected cultural exchange organizations in the world. With global offices in 6 countries, we organize cultural exchange programs for more than 50,000 participants each year.
AIFS will offer Summer Advantage, a new program in 2014 for high school students throughout the U.S. This 3-week summer program is designed to provide high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to study at international colleges and universities. Summer Institute for the Gifted – Program Director
The primary responsibility of the Program Director for the Summer Institute for the Gifted is to develop and implement successful programs at several Summer Institute residential and day sites. This responsibility includes pre-summer planning from September to April as well as on-the-ground program management May to August with frequent weekend travel required. Au Pair in America – Community Relations Manager
Au Pair in America (APIA), established in 1986, is the first and largest organization to be designated by the U.S. government to offer a legal au pair program. The Community Relations Manager will be responsible for finding new host families and meeting sales targets through training and motivating the field network of 178 community counselors.
The successful candidate will create and execute a strategic sales plan and collaborate with the marketing team to optimize APIA’s presence in the communities where we place au pairs.

Au Pair in America – Placement Specialist
Au Pair in America (APIA), established in 1986, is the first and largest organization to be designated by the U.S. government to offer a legal au pair program. The Placement Specialist is an essential role that works with host families facilitating the placement of their au pair. They will assist host families through the process of selecting their new au pair starting with the application process and ending with the placement, including finding applications of compatible au pairs through an online matching system, presenting them to the family via internet, email or mail, advising them on the VISA processes and cultural issues, and ending with the match of a family and an au pair.

Student Placement Manager
AYA is looking for an individual to join their management as a Student Placement Manager. The Student Placement Manager will be responsible for creating an annual student placement plan. This plan will need to include placement quotas, marketing strategies, and weekly goals for placement. This role will need to motivate and lead the Regional Director team and the Local Coordinators (field representatives) to reach their plan’s goals. The Placement Manager is also responsible for assisting with setting goals and coordinating Local Coordinator hiring efforts, setting and monitoring placement procedures as well as liaisoning with our international partners to solve placement issues.
The right person for this role will have a minimum of 3 years of management experience. International education experience is a must. Full Time - National Society for the Gifted & Talented (NSGT)
NSGT HR Representative
The focus of this role is to provide human resources administration for the National Society for the Gifted and Talented. The individual will be a key element in assuring that all NSGT summer staff are paid accurately and timely. The NSGT HR Representative will also be responsible for maintaining and collecting all pre-hire paperwork after the offer letter is sent. The role will also provide periodic back-up support to AIFS for payroll, HRIS and benefits administration as well work on miscellaneous assigned projects for the corporate HR department.
NSGT Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Distributing offer letters to all hired candidates
- Collecting all background releases and performing the checks
- Sending out verification of information forms for returning staff
- Distributing new hire packets to campuses
- Auditing all new hire paperwork
- Importing and enter all new hire data in HRIS system
- Maintaining up to date information in SLX
- Acting as the HR administrative liaison between SIG field staff and corporate
- Communicating all changes in staffing changes to payroll
AIFS Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Providing back up support to payroll and HRIS data entry when needed
- Bi-weekly filing
- Miscellaneous projects including administrative support for open enrollment, assisting with training and development administration, maintaining vendor files, and other assigned projects throughout the year.
The right individual will have 3-5 year experience as HR Administrator. ADP knowledge a ++. Excellent customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. MUST have excellent organizational skills!!

Program Director

These responsibilities include pre-summer planning, summer oversight and post-summer conclusions. This role will be actively involved in all aspects of running our 3-week session programs including but not limited to communication with parents, hiring of staff, implementing and developing curriculum, training and evaluation of staff, acting as the on-site director for one session, communicating with the on-campus liaison and budgeting.
The overarching goal of the Program Director is to ensure that SIG students have an enjoyable, productive, meaningful, safe, and secure three-week experience while attending Summer Institute programs.
The right individual for this role will have a master’s degree in education, experience working with gifted and talented programs and/or residential summer camp

Full Time - Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG)
Staffing Director
SIG programs are located at several colleges and private school campuses throughout the US including Princeton, Yale, Dartmouth, Boston University Academy, Emory and UCLA. NSGT is looking for a Staffing Director manage the recruitment, the on-boarding and the employee relations for over 800 temporary staff. The Staffing Director will work with our Program Director to fill the following positions for our three week programs - counselors, instructors, nurses and administrative staff. It will be essential for this person to partner with our Program Directors to assess and develop a recruitment plan. The Staffing Director will facilitate the recruitment process including creating job postings, developing and revising job descriptions, creating and implementing new hire training and development, employee relations, and facilitation of terminations and staffing issues to assuring the sessions are fully staffed for the three weeks.
We are looking for the Staffing Director to bring creativity and new ideas for recruitment of the staff. The right individual will have at least 3-5 years' recruitment experience and employee relations. Strong organizational and communication skills are a MUST. Ability to work summer weekends and extended hours. CAMP experience a PLUS.
