AIFS Summer Advantage – Director
Founded in 1964, the American Institute For Foreign Study (AIFS) is one of the oldest, largest and most respected cultural exchange organizations in the world. With global offices in 6 countries, we organize cultural exchange programs for more than 50,000 participants each year.

AIFS will offer Summer Advantage, a new program in 2014 for high school students throughout the U.S. This 3-week summer program is designed to provide high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to study at international colleges and universities. AIFS is looking for an individual to fill the role of Director. This role will have full responsibility for the program from start to finish including recruitment and enrollment of students, program development and support, collaboration with international staff, travel management, budgeting, customer service and emergency support.

The right individual for this role brings 5-8 years of experience managing a High School summer program offering travel and/or international education. It will be essential that candidates have a clear understanding of marketing channels for high school upperclassmen and their families. A proven history of budgeting and program enrollment analysis is essential. Highly organized, multi-functional and a passion for international education are must-haves.

Summer Institute for the Gifted – Program Director
The primary responsibility of the Program Director for the Summer Institute for the Gifted is to develop and implement successful programs at several Summer Institute residential and day sites. This responsibility includes pre-summer planning from September to April as well as on-the-ground program management May to August with frequent weekend travel required. The Program Director position is full-time, year round, and located in Stamford, CT.

We are seeking self motivated, driven, adaptable, flexible, detail-oriented individuals who have a passion for gifted education and summer programming.
