SIG Open House at Red Bank Middle School, September 27
Parents of gifted and talented students in grades one through six are invited to attend the open house for the new six-week Saturday program offered from October 11 through November 22.
SIG’s open house program, “Explore and Tour,” is designed to inform parents about program details, academic curriculum, and special program information. The event is hosted by members of the SIG staff and begins at 10 a.m. at Red Bank Middle School with registration, coffee and snacks. The schedule includes a presentation, question-and-answer sessions, lunch and escorted tours of the Red Bank campus.
Created and offered by the Summer Institute for the Gifted, the Saturday program at Red Bank is designed to empower students to discover and develop their skills and talents by engaging in authentic activities and applied curriculum. Participants face intellectual challenges, create original products and develop emerging life skills and talents. By working on a group project, students will also be a part of a vibrant learning community.
If you wish to attend the SIG open house for the new Saturday program at Red Bank Middle School, contact Laura at (866) 303-4744, ext. 5159, or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Over the past twenty-four summers, SIG has expanded to include eleven residential sessions and four day programs. In 2008 alone, over 1,600 academically gifted students in Kindergarten through 11th grade participated in the three-week long SIG programs.
