SIG Open House at Fairfield University, January 10
Parents of gifted and talented students in grades one through six are invited to attend the open house for the new six-week Saturday program offered from January 24 through March 7.
SIG’s open house program is designed to inform parents about program details, academic curriculum, and special program information. The event is hosted by members of the SIG staff and begins at 9:30 a.m. with registration, coffee and snacks. The schedule includes a presentation and question-and-answer session.
Created and offered by the Summer Institute for the Gifted, the Saturday program at Fairfield University is designed for students in need of activities that stretch their abilities, expand their knowledge, and engage them in creative and active learning. Students have access to Fairfield University facilities.
If you wish to attend the SIG open house at Fairfield, call (866) 303-4744, ext. 5159, or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.

Over the past twenty-four summers, SIG has expanded to include eleven residential sessions and twelve day programs. In 2008 alone, over 1,600 academically gifted students in Kindergarten through 11th grade participated in the three-week long SIG programs.
