Gifted Summer Camp Scholarships Available for Tennessee Students

STAMFORD, CT – April 6, 2018 –The Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) is pleased to offer 2 SIG program scholarships for gifted and talented students in the state of Tennessee.

SIG, a not-for-profit organization and one of the nation’s leading gifted programs, will provide need-based scholarships through the Sacha Foundation Scholarship Program. The 2 deserving students will be able to apply their scholarship to any one of SIG’s 8 campus locations.

To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be Tennessee residents and submit a SIG program application and financial assistance form. Students must be between the ages of 9 and 17 and meet SIG’s eligibility requirements. To apply for this scholarship, please email

SIG’s three-week programs combine academics with social, cultural and recreational opportunities for a truly engaging summer. Students live in campus dormitories and select courses of interest from a wide variety of academic, art, and recreational classes that meet daily.

Students are recommended to apply early as spots in the program fill quickly. Need-based financial assistance and scholarships are available and vary by program type and campus. Fees vary by campus and start at $2,995.

The mission of SIG is to provide the highest quality educational and social opportunities for academically gifted and talented students through programs designed to meet their abilities and needs. SIG is a program of the National Society for Gifted and Talented (NSGT), a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

SIG’s three-week residential programs for gifted children are held at eight of American’s finest college campuses: Bryn Mawr College, Emory University, Princeton University, UC Berkeley, UCLA, University of Chicago, University of Miami, and Yale University.

The SIG Day Program is offered for younger students, ages 5-12, at campuses across the country.
